Dr. Martin Mandelberg is a strategist, scientist, engineer, Executive, educator, entrepreneur, and author. He has over 50 years of experience helping establish goals and achieve missions across diverse organizations by developing innovative solutions, building coalitions, leading strategic change, and managing personnel.

He has received honors and awards for research, development & application of advanced technology, and leadership of major programs for industry, national laboratories, government agencies, and academia. Technical areas included signal processing, information management, data center consolidation, crisis management, computer simulation, nonlinear modeling, and artificial intelligence, including heuristics, stochastic optimization, and machine learning. Business areas included disruptive solutions, innovation offerings, and over $4 billion in competitive contract awards.

Served as a guest lecturer and adjunct faculty member at several universities, and worked as a board member or strategic consultant for several companies and foundations. Authored two books and over 60 journal articles, conference papers, professional reports, and contract deliverables. Delivered presentations at companies, universities, and government agencies (US, Denmark, Greece, and Chile). Since 2004, he has also formed two profitable companies and a private philanthropic foundation.

Born in the Bronx, New York, he lives in Falls Church, VA, with his wife, Lois. Nearby are four married children and seven wonderful grandchildren.
